Fear

Fear is your best friend or your worst enemy. It's like fire. If you can control it, it can cook for you; it can heat your house. If you can't control it, it will burn everything around you and destroy you. If you can control your fear, it makes you more alert, like a deer coming across the lawn.

The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.

My first soft charcoal work!!

This is the first time I tried something out of a soft charcoal stick. Its the quickest medium I've used, but control over it is a bit hard to achieve. It can give great effects to work, but detailing with it can be troublesome!!

And yes, not to forget, I made this picture because a friend wanted me to make a sketch of a baby as I hadn't done it before, so this dedicated to that friend!!

Art Life

I am interested in art as a means of living a life; not as a means of making a living.

Life

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Rose

Umm...well I am not really much into painting but started it again on request of a friend. I liked the detailed photo of a rose, also the colour composition is not very complex and hence made work, of an amateur artist like me, easy!! It has turned out decently..I think I am just learning to make paintings!!
I have made many artworks before but I am just planning to showcase the ones I have made very recently, the thoughts and inspirations of it...I hope I dont bore you by oversaying or overdoing anything, but what can I do, I am meticulous by nature and some may find it too much, I shall try to keep it as minimal as possible!!!

Hello Friends,

He He, don't know where to start from, and first of all why am doing this, just probably because someone inspired me to do so, someone who really appreciated my arts, not only my arts but also my thoughts. And hence, this !! Its a gr8 way of sharing, the very basis of human society giving and taking, but here we shall be sharing arts, thoughts, feelings and people. I have named this blog as "Samparaya", which means influx of passion, so here I can discuss things which appeal strongly to me, and hope you all like this. Titled it as "Kalakruti", because displaying and sharing of artworks being the main thought behind creation of this blog. So let the mellifluous flow of the passion for arts!! :)
